അഭിനയകലയില്‍ മോഹന്‍ലാല്‍ ഒരു ആന: തിലകന്‍

മലയാള സിനിമയിലെ പെരുന്തച്ചനായ തിലകന്‍ വളരെ കുറച്ചു നടന്‍‌മാരെ മാത്രമേ അവരുടെ അഭിനയവൈഭവത്തിന്‍റെ പേരില്‍ ബഹുമാനിക്കാറുള്ളൂ. നാടകത്തില്‍ പി ജെ ആന്‍റണി, അബൂബക്കര്‍. സിനിമയില്‍ ഭരത് ഗോപി, മോഹന്‍ലാല്‍. തിലകനില്‍ നിന്ന് ഒരു നല്ലവാക്ക് കേള്‍ക്കണമെങ്കില്‍ അയാള്‍ അത്രയ്ക്കും മികച്ച നടനായിരിക്കണം. മോഹന്‍ലാലിന്‍റെ ചില പെരുമാറ്റങ്ങളില്‍ തിലകന് അഭിപ്രായവ്യത്യാസമുണ്ടെങ്കിലും അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്‍റെ അഭിനയമികവിനെക്കുറിച്ച് തിലകന് നൂറുനാവാണ്.

“അഭിനയത്തിന്‍റെ കാര്യത്തില്‍ ഒരു ആനയാണ് മോഹന്‍ലാല്‍ എന്ന് ഞാന്‍ പറയും. ആനയ്ക്ക് പക്ഷേ, അതിന്‍റെ വലിപ്പം അറിയില്ലല്ലോ. ലാലിന്‍റെ കാര്യത്തില്‍ സംഭവിക്കുന്നതും അതാണ്. അയാള്‍ക്ക് അയാളുടെ പവര്‍ അറിയില്ല.” - മംഗളത്തിന് അനുവദിച്ച അഭിമുഖത്തില്‍ തിലകന്‍ പറയുന്നു.

“ലാലും ഞാനും തമ്മില്‍ പ്രശ്നങ്ങളൊനുമില്ല. ലാലിനുചുറ്റും കറങ്ങുന്ന ഉപഗ്രഹങ്ങളാണ് അയാളെ എല്ലാറ്റില്‍ നിന്നും അകറ്റി നിര്‍ത്തുന്നത്. ഈ ഉപഗ്രഹങ്ങള്‍ തന്നെയാണ് അയാള്‍ക്ക് വിനയാകുന്നതും. എനിക്കെതിരെ നടപടിയെടുത്ത ‘അമ്മ’യുടെ യോഗത്തില്‍ എനിക്ക് അനുകൂലമായ നിലപാടൊന്നും മോഹന്‍ലാലിന്‍റെ ഭാഗത്തുനിന്നുണ്ടായില്ല. അയാള്‍ ഉപഗ്രഹങ്ങളുടെ പിടിയിലായിരുന്നു.” - തിലകന്‍ വ്യക്തമാക്കുന്നു.

I have been a die-hard fan of Mohanlal from the time I can remember..... Just the thought of some of his roles i.e., in Kilukkam, Naadodikkattu, Chithram, Gandhi Nagar 2nd Street, can bring a smile to your face. However, other movies like Vadakkumnathan, Thanmaathra, Alexander the Great, Ulladakkam, Baratham, His Highness Abdulla, etc etc etc have an everlasting impression on one.
